La Belle Reine began in 2014 in Ontario Canada, with a simple frustration: Why are we paying big-brand prices for products whose labels I couldn’t read. So I set out to make my own. After months of research, trials and more test batches than I can count, La Belle Reine was born.
Today the collection has two lines: Éclat, our prestige line, and L’Essentiel, for everyday care.
Our bottles are accepted in most household recycling programs in Canada. Please check your local programs for pumps, droppers and caps.
The process
How Are Products Made!
Our product line up is formulated and made by hand, in small batches. Every formula is written down to the percentage and made the same way every time, so the bottle you buy today matches the one you loved last season. A few everyday items, including some of our soaps and cleansers, come from suppliers I trust.
Every ingredient has a purpose, a reason: plant oils and butters for how they feel on the skin, and a small number of supporting ingredients where they do the job better, like vitamin E, which keeps oils fresh.
When a product is scented, the label says so, and every ingredient is listed on every product. You can read what each one does in our ingredient library.
